August is Membership Month!

August is Rotary Membership Month, and we'd like to challenge every member to help our club grow.

Think about it: most of us are Rotarians today because someone invited us. A simple invitation to attend a meeting was all it took to open the door to new friendships, service opportunities, and community impact.

This month, we challenge each member to:

☐ Invite a friend, colleague, neighbor, or community leader to attend a Rotary meeting.

OR

☐ If you're not comfortable making the invitation yourself, give the name of one or two people who might be a good fit for Rotary to a board member. We'd be happy to reach out, answer questions, and extend an invitation on your behalf.

The strongest clubs grow through personal connections. There are people in our community who share Rotary's values of service, leadership, and fellowship. They simply need someone to invite them.

Who invited you to Rotary? Now is a great time to pay that invitation forward!

Camp Rokiwan

SAVE THE DATE – Camp Rokiwan

Mark your calendars! Camp Rokiwan will be held August 3–6. If you are able to sign up to help, we would greatly appreciate it!

Volunteer to help at camp -

We also have a wish list for supplies to keep at the camp.

Camp Rokiwan is a proud partnership between the Rotary Club and Kiwanis Club, a tradition that has enriched the lives of local youth for more than 100 years. The camp's summer program is designed to help children discover their potential, build independence, and develop important values such as patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and respect.

More than just a summer camp, Camp Rokiwan provides a safe and supportive environment where young people can learn valuable life lessons, build lasting friendships, and create memories that will stay with them for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this long-standing community tradition possible. We look forward to another outstanding year at Camp Rokiwan!
